Q has a project going called Simple Love, a series of instrumentals for the bass guitar. We are in the process of acqiring a new line-up of instruments for the longplay skeletal beat music of our evolving incarnation...The high-hat, bongos, and theremin will be featured in the August sessions. Until then, the new thing that Q and I have been doing is jamming with bass and guitar together. Recording on the porta studio has caused us too much aggravation. So we've decided to go back to the instantaneousness (wow it takes a long time to type and read that word back..in stan tane eous ness!) we had in april. The plan is to amass amass amass amass and then hone hone hone hone....then record, store, move on.
Also we moved to Bhutan officially/psychically this week. Somewhere between China and India. I love the flag, using scraps of foil for a million different things, sweater-vests, nice neighbours, happy folks. I think you should be able to be a citizen of your favorite country and give them your taxes even though physically you may live somewhere else. In the interim, this part of BC is Bhutan-ny. The people are all very Bhutan-ny here.
