Originally recorded in mid-april, the seeds for 'Axe to Grind' were sowed about two years before Occupant even formed! Stella and I contemplated that we could write the lyrics for rock anthems and that existing rock bands would perform them, and we'd kiss the green skin of some serious cashola! Not so simple. So we recorded it ourselves. Certainly one of my faves!
